Personal Development - Add Juice to Your Life!

Life is growth, and we are not growing we are dying. If we think about this point, we can see how life can become monotonous, and mundane. When we explore we feel great, when we settle to routine, we lose sight of a vision.

What is the point of digging a hole in the ground, if all we are going to do is cover it up again? Sometimes life can seem pointless. Get up, go to work, work, come home, sleep, and rinse and repeat.

Daily routine can add its toll. But, it does not have to be that way. In fact I am sure you have had times in your life where things are going great. If you look back, it likely was a time when you were doing something new. You were exploring, and growing.

So life is growth. When we grow we feel great. When we try a new meal or go to a new destination, we learn something new. We learn we liked it or we didn't, and even what it looked like. We have created a bigger map, and here is where personal development can add zest to your life.

What has Bill Gates, Obama, King Solomon and a beggar got in common? They all goal set! Goal setting is at the heart of personal development, and it is so, because goals are generally for things we have never achieved before.

So, what has personal development and goal setting got in common? You set a goal, and now, you have to develop to get that goal. This is so, because we can only have what we are ready for. A person earning $30k a year can't earn $100k a year, until they grow.

Now, back to Bill Gates, Obama, King Solomon and the beggar. With goal setting, we all do it. Unfortunately the first 3 people set a productive goal, while the beggar did not. We may say the person on the street has no choice; they are stuck there because of circumstance.

If we hold such a view it says that we wholly believe in fate, and there is no room to achieve goals, which would be unfortunate, and does not give room for goal setting. The truth is that personal development and goal setting can take you from where you are to where you want to get to.

And here is where the fun begins. You set goals that are positive, for whatever you want. And you work to get them. They require personal development for learning, they need applying to transform learning into skills. And finally the confidence of achievement.

Goal setters live longer and they achieve more in one life time that many would not in several lifetimes. Personal development is a loose subject, which adds benefit to it also. It is like science, it can include chemistry, biology, astronomy and many more subjects.

Likewise personal development includes personal and professional, wealth, health, happiness and a number of other areas. Enjoy personal development, and grow to your full potential.

Goal setting can be a great way to cut down the time to success. Visit this goal setting link for more info. Also I have my blog up where I put some golden gems which can help you on your journey to success - success coaching.

Wandering Or Lost Souls

5 Tips For Handling Conflict

If you live long enough you will experience conflict. The chance that everyone will like us or get along with us is very minimal. Inevitably we will disagree with someone. When this happens, handling the conflict with a level head avoids stress and keeps the chance of the conflict escalating less likely.

Handling conflict does not have to be confrontational in the classic sense. When someone mentions an altercation we think of the showdown at the OK Corral. Coming into the meeting ready to fight is not the best way to handle a conflict.

Conflicts can occur at any time. You could be in a grocery store and the cashier may act rude as they ring up your groceries. We've all had that happen at least once, right? The first reaction is to slam the money on the counter or to snap back at them. In that instant we have taken their problems as our own and created a stressful situation that changes the tone of the rest of our day.

Here are five tips for handling conflict. They work for coworkers, family members, friends, and even strangers. You never know when the proper response to a conflict could save your life or someone else's.

1. Think about the situation. We are quick to respond when someone says what we don't like. Take the time to breathe before responding. In that breath replay the words spoken.

2. Make the hard decision. In many cases, the conflict that arises is not the first of its kind. Harsh or offensive words or deeds could be a recurring theme in the relationship. Decide if this affiliation is worth saving or if it is time to cut the person loose. Leaving the association could result in a lost friendship, a divorce, or changing jobs. Sometimes, for our own sake, these things are better in the long run than staying in a bad relationship.

3. Wait a day. Don't respond right then. Give yourself time to talk over the situation with a trusted friend. Maybe you overreacted. Sometimes, a third party can see something that you missed in the heat of your anger. In these cases, apologize where necessary. If the consensus is that you were wronged, then bring the matter to the attention of the other person with a level head not a hot one.

4. Find a solution. A common conflict, especially among spouses could result from wanting to make a purchase that there isn't enough money for. Instead of brooding, come up with favorable solutions that could get you what you want or need. Get a second job to earn the money.

5. Apologize if you were in the wrong. Just because something is true doesn't mean that it has to be said. Telling someone that they are wearing a dress that is too small for them is not a positive way to help them lose weight. Understand how it could be offensive to them and apologize. Better yet, stop and think before you respond in situations such as these. Put yourself in the other person's shoes before hand. Part of resolving conflicts is realizing our role in it.
Facing confrontational situations is not easy. But, it is not inevitable and sometimes it has to be done. Learning conflict resolution techniques can alleviate the stress of these situations.

Kabbalah and Lucky Eyes For a Better Life

You want to be successful in life? Itching to have a balanced lifestyle and want lady luck to be at your side all the time? Then if you want to have all these under your belt, then you might want consider delving into the truth about Kabbalah and equip yourself with Lucky Eyes while you're busy with your daily lifestyle.

Understanding Kabbalah

If you think that Kabbalah is some occultic belief, then think again. Kabbalah is one of the oldest religions in the planet and many have enjoyed the benefits of its teachings to lead a successful life under the law of God.

Kabbalah originated with the Jews. It is believed that there is only one God that all things under heaven and earth stem. God is not defined as a spirit, a soul, or a living being. Simply, God is God and governs all.

The teachings of Kabbalah that God created man with infinite possibilities. They have the potential to reach the peak of their success by following the positive virtues taught by the religion. If one closely follows its teachings, then they are on their way to success quick and easy.

But with every religion, there are also factors that can bring down a person's sojourn to success. The Evil Eye, as with any other religion, is a source of misfortune and chaos. The penetrating gaze filled with malice and hate can disturb the harmony of a man's mind, body, and soul -- shaping his or destiny down the path of failure. The only way to counter this is to wear lucky Eyes.

What Is Lucky Eyes?

Lucky Eyes is the total opposite of the Evil Eye. If the latter gives off negative energy to harm a person's destiny, then Lucky Eyes absorbs these evil emanations to protect the person wearing them.

These lucky charms are symbolized with an eye in the middle. They can be worn as a earring, necklace, bracelet, or a ring. Whatever their shape may be, or material used for its make, Lucky Eyes will absorb any negative energies going your way and make sure that only positive forces exists around you to keep you rooted on your path to success.

Wearing Lucky Eyes

We can never determine who is giving off the Evil Eye. It can be your boss, your work mates, or even your friend. This gives the Evil Eye the advantage over the unsuspecting victim -- polluting them with negative energies to bring body and spirit to an all time low.

Wearing Lucky Eyes wherever you go renders this advantage of the Evil Eye useless. You can stay protected during work or play when you're out of the safety of your own home. You can even see Hollywood superstars and millionaires wear them for protection.

How Can Goal Setting Worksheets Help You

Goal setting can be done in many ways. For example, you could simply think about it, make big plans or even use goal setting worksheets. Success is determined by a system that can streamline the process. Join me as you discover how goal setting worksheets can help you.

In any goal, there is always a way for its achievement. We can look at the success as a spectrum. On the one end, failure, and on the other, success. To achieve success then needs to do things different. After all, we see many people who have a goal, even if they haven't consciously thought about it. For example, those who want a Yacht, and want to retire to a sunny beech, but in most cases never do.

I truly believe that every goal you desire for the fulfillment of, you can achieve. However, tools are needed. You can't put on a new tire on a car, without effective tools, not can you succeed without the effective tools.

In goal setting, this is the goal setting worksheets. You see, from that spectrum of success, we can see less we do, less we get, and the more we do, the more we get. This applies in most cases but not all cases.

You could plan to make a cup of coffee, and make it into a 100 page business plan of how you will make the coffee. What we need is a simple way to do things. A goal setting system with goal setting worksheets that make this possible.

There are many places that offer goal setting worksheets, and some even offer comprehensive goal setting systems. These can be a great way to keep things simple, without having to fall short on the necessities of goal setting.

You can think about a cup of coffee and make it without plans; however, you can't just leave your life goals to such chances. They must at the very least be written down on paper. Even if you don't have a goal setting system, simply writing it down, will improve the likelihood that you will achieve that goal.

If we look at that success spectrum again, we will find that there are things we can do to either make it more likely to manifest in our lives, and decrease the time to achievement. Achieving both of these is a science and an art in goal setting.

It needs smart goal setting. And smart is all about finding solutions that makes life easier, cut down the time to achievement, and increase likelihood of success. This takes time, and even with a full on system, you may find that you can tweak the goal setting systems to meet your needs.

Goal setting worksheets are great for many reasons. Once you use them over time, you will find them become second nature. And then your goal setting will take on a new meaning. With you setting goals and achieving them on almost a daily basis.

Understanding the God Consciousness Gestalt and Evolution of the Soul

Two words we will be using often in this discussion are (Hierarchy and Gestalt). For our purposes, Hierarchy will mean the stratified organization and layering of consciousness based on it's abilities, maturity and development. Gestalt will mean an organized and united whole that equals more than the sum of it's parts, and cannot be defined by knowing and categorizing the totality of it's components. When we think of consciousness in light of what we know and see in our everyday activities, we are presented with evidence that some living forms seem to possess more developed abilities than others.

This leads us to the assumption that we are the living epitome of consciousness expressed in human form. We assume that we are the top of the pile of living consciousness, with all other living forms below us. Of course, the word "living" itself is arbitrary, as we all tend to draw our own line of demarcation between what is "alive" and what is not alive. We attribute consciousness to things that are alive, that move, that think, reason, etc. In other words we like to consider ourselves and some animals as possessing consciousness.

If we were able to trace the evidence of consciousness downward on the scale of "living things" we would be amazed to learn that birds, insects, flowers, grass, bacteria and even the cells that compose the human body have their own and value oriented type of consciousness. Their consciousness is not equal in egotistical development as ours, but it is not less in quality, it simply has not developed in the same way as our reasoning mind consciousness. The natural instinctive consciousness of the animals serves them well for their necessary interaction with nature and the environment. We humans are part of a beautiful tapestry of consciousness composing a system of reality rising out of need and developed with a purpose. All consciousness contained within our realty has it's purpose and that purpose is to BE. What we don't understand as yet is that EVERYTHING possesses it's own type of consciousness.

Consciousness is even somewhat aware of itself in the ubiquitous electron, the atom, and even the cells and molecules are aware of their motion within a life form. The American Indian knew only a few hundred short years ago, that there is consciousness in the tree, the rock, the river and mountains. It is rather easy to accept this premise in light of other spiritual enigmas that confound us. Unfortunately with the evolution of our precise physical manipulation in a three dimensional reality, it became necessary for us to focus intently on physical performance of the biological form and we lost some of the intuitive truths that were inherently ours from the beginning. These truths are not lost, they just became buried deep within our psyche waiting to be activated again, to bring about the natural blending of the physical reasoning mind and the inner knowledge that still awaits activation.

So if we were to attempt to stratify and categorize consciousness, we would probably put ourselves near to top of the ladder with a huge gap between ourselves and God. Why would we assume that there are unending gradations of consciousness below ours but seemingly none above ours until you reached that ultimate "God Reality"?

The truth is that there are countless gradations of conscious entities above us of such psychic sophistication that we could only contemplate them as godlike psychological structures and their reality would not be translatable in words. There exist countless very mature, sophisticated entities that we cannot perceive and never will be able to perceive. These are the entities, some of which have experienced Earth reality at sometime in the distant path, have evolved through Earth reality and gone on to other more challenging worlds. Because we cannot perceive these entities with our Earth tuned senses does not mean they do not exist. They exist more assuredly than you or I do in an actuality that is so evolved that even if I were able to explain it, you could not understand. To these "super entities" Earth reality was once their kindergarten just as it is now ours. Earth is the beginning playground for new consciousness. We are here to learn, create, experience, yes, make mistakes for sure, but to learn from our mistakes and create again and again, improving all the while.

Now finally, there is therefore a PYRAMID GESTALT of consciousness with newer consciousness on the lower levels, evolving and moving upward within the pyramid structure as they progress. Of course the very top of the pyramid is ALL THAT IS (GOD). This Prime Being is composed of all consciousness below on the pyramid structure. Conversely speaking if we were to carry that thought to it's logical conclusion, in some very real way, your existence NOW on the lower levels of the psychological pyramid structure speaks of your very real connection with Top of the pyramid. Everything is connected and part of another everything.

Everything is part of something else. Nothing in the Universe stands alone. You are a part of this Pyramid Gestalt, this Hierarchy of consciousness that and between you and All That Is are unimaginable sophistication that you can hardly envision. The fact that you are part of countless entities above and below you as they are part of entities above and below them. "I use the term above and below, when the meaning is more advanced in consciousness development". I am saying that within this Hierarchy, you are part of something else, that is itself part of something else and so on forever. In entity development there is no better or best, there is just more advanced, mature, developed, but all are of the same quality, as they came from the same Source.

This kind of psychic oneness should not in the least bother you or make you in any way feel insignificant. It is quite like the following analogy. You live within your family at the same time you live within your city or county. You also live within your country and live on your continent and there is no contradiction, no jealousy of one above the other even though you are part of all simultaneously. The entity of which you are a part, scarcely notices you, but it's development depends on the structures upon which it rests and give it strength. You are a part of grander entities, and you don't even notice it. You are evolving in that direction yourself, and as your position on this pyramid of consciousness increases in depth and awareness, so will it increase maturity and psychic sophistication.

If you have been anxiously awaiting your unification with God, forget it. You are already as closely connected as you will ever be. As you increase and become more, All That Is increases multitudinous amounts multiplied by the number of all consciousness on this earth. From this you can see that as you increase, All That Is increases exponentially. As an example, as you progress an inch, All That Is progresses a million miles in terms of distance as an analogy. All That Is experiences through all entities beneath itself including you, as you to are also an entity of considerable worth and always becoming more. All That Is doubles itself in nanoseconds. So as there are countless layers of consciousness below yours, there are more above yours also. There is no huge gap between yourself and God and there are others that have gone before you. The more sophisticated and evolved the entity, the more entities involved with it and a part of it.

An entity can perceive dimensions of reality that are not yet as not as developed as it's own, but cannot perceive dimensions that are more evolved.

Is King Solomon Going To Heaven

Religion and Yoga

Etymologically the word religion denotes duality, as it is a combination of Latin re and ligare, meaning to bind or connect again. Cicero, Lactantius and Augustine slightly differ from each other in their meaning of religion, which is quite natural. Through millennia, after many definitions and interpretations, the word religion has become a loaded word, and organised religion has further distorted its meaning. But shorn of the dross gathered around it, it means reunion with something from which we have separated earlier (fall of man). Similarly, yoga means to yoke or join together in Sanskrit, denoting--again--duality. Therefore, translation of religion should be yoga-not dharma, as is the case-and vice versa.

Like religion, Yoga, too, has also become a loaded word, by and large meaning a regimen of exercises, breath control and meditation (dhyana) to tone up the body and control the mind.

From the above, it follows: Bind or connect again to what (in case of religion)? And yoke or join to what (in case of yoga)? You reconnect with something where the connection has been snapped. Likewise, you yoke or join two things that once constituted one undivided whole.

Both the words were coined by the aspirants in the distant past to describe what they thought to be the source, since lost somewhere along the line. But, was there really a source? If yes, then, how the source was lost? There has to be a self or I together with something dividing it from the source; however 'I' is nothing but first person, singular pronoun.

The famous American philosopher Daniel Dennett maintains in his book, Consciousness Explained, that the self is an illusion-no more than a series of shifting "multiple drafts" or narratives, with no central focus or continuity.

On the other hand, the illustrious British mathematician Roger Penrose says: The world is an illusion created by the conspiracy of our senses.

When these two statements are juxtaposed with each other, we find that "the self is an illusion" according to Dennett, and "the world is an illusion" as per Penrose. Hence, the self is an illusion and so is the world. Is it then all Maya? The word Maya means illusion in English. In Sanskrit, however, Maya means measurement. What can be measured is Maya. English words like measurement, myth, meter, matter, and music, share a common ancestry with it. All measurements start from the point called 'I' or 'self'. When this I or self is knocked off, then Maya collapses along with religion and yoga. Then what is left is the Source.

Currently, I am working on a book for children.

Pride Can Often Create Problems in Religion

Have you ever talked to someone about their religious beliefs, only to find out that they are very stubborn, they only want to talk about their beliefs and do not want to listen to your opinion at all. I have met plenty of people that fall into this category and rarely do I run into someone with an open mind about their religious beliefs. These people often try to make you feel stupid and don't realize, that they are the ones who are actually ignorant.

Pride can often create problems in religion and only later when you see the truth can you really understand how stubborn you were. The problem with these people, is that once they find the truth, it's another lie and they seem to push these beliefs on to others. Often these people can be very aggressive and it almost seems like they need to make up for lost time, since they were wrong about their last religion.

Psalm 10:4 In his pride the wicked does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.

It seems like pride has often got man into trouble and rarely gotten him out of it. Pride can often start wars but only after defeat or education can they be ended. While some people go around town shoving religion down your throat in the name of God, others are ignoring the information completely. The problems in religion resulting from someone's pride have created too many problems throughout history and need to be stopped. Turn your prideful thinking into a compassionate mind.

The next time you meet someone on the street or in a store and they look different or have different beliefs, humble yourself and be kind to them. Show a little compassion instead of pride. Maybe, just maybe you could even make friends with these people and learn something about their beliefs. Often you will find that their religious beliefs are not that much different than yours and this could get you thinking and rethinking about your religion.

ABC Books That Won't Make You Want to Rip Your Hair Out (At Least For the First 500 Reads)

By the time my son was born, he already had a bookshelf full of books. What else would you expect from a baby whose mother teaches English? Since he was my first child, I really had little knowledge of what one was "supposed" to read to a newborn. As far as I can tell, it doesn't matter if you read Sports Illustrated, The Economist, The Bible or the dictionary to a newborn; they just love to hear your voice, and I operate under the theory that limiting a baby's exposure to new and challenging words (assuming that he will not understand) is to do him a disservice. Neither my husband nor I have shied away from books that were "too advanced" for him, and I can see that it is paying off.

Having now praised the benefits of high-level texts, let me go back to the basics: those building blocks to communication: letters. ABC books. I confess to having no fewer than fifteen different alphabet books, and that's not counting the Sesame Street series of 26 books (one for each letter). By the way, those books are incredible, and Xander loves them: the familiar characters, the rhymes, the silliness, everything, and I give that series of books a lot of credit for Xander's interest in words and reading.

A few other ABC books for super young readers that you won't mind reading over and over:

Animal Action ABC by Karen Pandell, Handprint Books- I love this one for several reasons. All of the ABCs match up to action words. Kids are inundated with nouns; it's wonderful to provide a book of 26 great verbs like charge, inflate, and leap! Each letter/action word is accompanied by a full color photo of an animal in action, in addition to a picture of a child doing the same thing. In our family, reading this book would often require all of us attempting the suggested action, as well. This was, and still is, one of Xander's favorites.

The Elephant Alphabet by Gene Yates, Kidsbooks- This one is really funny. Every page depicts a boldly colored elephant trying to mold himself into the shape of a particular letter. The caption for each picture contains several words containing the particular letter: "G elephant gulps garlic and turns green."

All of these books have enhanced Xander's ability to hear letter sounds. Early on, he was able to identify the first letters of words he didn't even know. To encourage this, we enunciated letter sounds, played quiz-type games, looked at other books and fun flash cards, and showed him what words look like as we read. I also have to give props to a DVD from Leap Frog called The Letter Factory. Xander loved it, and the songs stuck with him.

Last, if you've had it with a particular book, just put it away for awhile. "Find" it again later; your child will be excited and happy, and you may even like it again, yourself.

Yoga for Beginners: The First Step of Yoga Practice

Maybe your doctor, chiropractor, physical therapist, or best friend told you Yoga would be good for you. You have heard so much about Yoga; it seems that Yoga is a cure for almost anything. The more you hear, the more confusing it is to understand what Yoga is all about.

Should you go out and buy a Yoga book? What would be the best Yoga book to buy? If you visit the local book store, you see hundreds of Yoga books, CDs, DVDs, card decks, and kits. Should you buy a copy of the Yoga Sutras by Patanjali or buy one of the for dummies Yoga books?

Below is an overview of Yoga, which may help you decide your path of Yogic study. There is no right or wrong path of Yoga study, but be selective when you choose a Yoga teacher, Yoga book, or Yoga class..

You should first realize that there are many styles of Yoga. There are nine major styles of Yoga; many more styles exist, as well as many sub-styles. The nine major styles of Yoga are Bhakti, Hatha, Jnana, Karma, Kundalini, Mantra, Raja, Tantra, and Yantra Yoga. Each style emphasizes unity of body, mind, and spirit.

The literal meaning of Yoga is union or unity. If we can unify the body, mind, and spirit in harmony, we can achieve tranquility. One of the main purposes of Yoga is tranquility through improved health due to a holistic approach to life.

India is the birth place of Yoga. There are many written works about Yoga, but the origin of Yoga dates back thousands of years. Yoga is the mother of most of the worlds health maintenance systems. Asian martial arts, with an origin from the Shaolin temple, and Pilates, can trace their ancestry back to Yoga.

The higher forms of Yoga are said to be Bhakti, Jnana, Karma, and Raja Yoga. Each of these four styles is a complex subject, within themselves, and I cannot do them justice by a summarization.

Hatha Yoga sub-styles are the most prolific outside of India. Most new Yoga practitioners will learn a Hatha Yoga sub-style first. Hatha Yoga, and its many sub-styles, primarily emphasize physical health, which will likely result in improved mental health. Most Hatha Yoga classes, outside of India, do not approach spiritual health.

Nevertheless, Hatha Yoga is seen by fundamentalists as an export of Hinduism. In some rare instances, this may be true, but most Hatha Yoga teachers are content to teach improved health for body and mind.

Therefore, when you choose a book, or local Yoga teacher, be aware that the Yoga teacher or Guru is a guide - but you have a right to know which direction you are being guided to. The Yoga practitioner learns to expand his or her mind and make independent decisions along the way.

Yoga is non-threatening to religion. If a Yoga instructor teaches intolerance, of any kind, that is not Yoga. Unity is not sectarianism. We have to learn to appreciate diversity, and we should never tolerate prejudice. Prejudice and intolerance are often the cause of crime and wars.

On the Grand Scale, the goal of Yoga is world peace through unity.

Goal Planning For Success

MLM Information - The Real "Secret" of Network Marketing Success

As a networker, I am sure you know there are problems in network marketing. The failure rate is dismal, most people start off very slowly, and profits fail to come for long periods of time for many. This is MLM information that not just networkers know, but unfortunately, many other people are aware of too.

Many people when they first start their MLM career are told it takes a lot of hard work and working harder will help one achieve success.

The truth is, hard work does not have anything to do with success. Sure, a person must work at it, but at the end of the day this will not ensure success.

At a Tom, "Big Al" Schreiter Superclosing Seminar, Big Al said that anyone should be able to do this business in seconds or minutes a day. Now, that is MLM information many people may not realize! Plus, Big Al stated that everybody who got into this business didn't do it to make their lives more busy or complicated and have less family time. I am sure this describes you as well.

Also, success in MLM has nothing to do with chanting affirmations, vision boards, goal setting, positive thinking, and the like. This may sound like heresy to some, but it's the truth. These things are ok to do in your free time, but don't work in real life when you are talking to a prospect.

Some people when they start their business go 100 miles an hour in all directions, try to learn numerous marketing techniques, make a list of friends and family and start to pester them, and simply do all kinds of crazy things. It's like common sense goes out the window.

Then, some networkers start to believe that getting 100 no's is good because every no gets you closer to a yes. This is MLM information we all have heard. How insane is this when you think about it and who wants to go through all that rejection?

The end result of all of this? People end up getting battered, bruised, have friends who run when they see them coming, etc. This is sad because it does not have to be.

So, what is the "real" secret of network marketing? It's just this one word-"skills". With any other jobs in life, a person has to learn skills and network marketing is no different. The skills also need to be dead on since close will not be good enough.

Success is dependent on the right decisions made and efforts in the right direction. In reality, the difference between a person with a huge bonus check and another with is just skills. They just choose a different sequence of words. How can they do this? Skills.

Faith Healing and the Catholic Church - Authorities Quoted

As a Protestant for over 50 years, I would quote Scripture
first and then appeal to the logic of the hearer to understand
my interpretation was correct. I now wish to present
information from Scripture to be consistent with the
Magisterium, the teaching authority of the Catholic Church.

Just to make this point, look at Acts 15 and note that a
controversy arose that was presented to the Apostles and
elders for adjudication. Note especially verse 24 which has
the key phrase, "to whom we gave no such commandment". People
were teaching something the Church had not authorized to be
taught. My intention is therefore to stick with what has been
authorized. By utilizing the Catechism of the Catholic Church
(CCC), one can be sure that the material has been reviewed and
authorized by the Apostles and elders by the way of the
current Magisterium of the Church.

Where the CCC refers to Scripture, those passages will be
given to demonstrate that the information is not only
Scriptural but also interpreted correctly. My purpose is to
have this document reflect the actual teaching of the Church
and not just my opinion of what the Church teaches.
Furthermore it is to also show that this teaching of the
Church is in fact completely Scriptural.

Our Protestant brothers will yield to the authority of the
Scripture but not to the authority of the CCC. Hopefully this
approach will help bring unity through understanding that the
CCC is consistent with Scripture at least as far as the
material presented in this document is concerned.

I suggest that the reader have available both the CCC and
his/her Bible and see whether the representations are correct.

Bible Verses That Don

What is Faith?

We are beings who have limits in our ability to see what will come next in our lives. The future is outside of the range of our vision. So what do we do when circumstances arise that cause us to be in a complete state of discomfort or of pain?

Many people turn to religions; for that is what religions were created for. Others turn to despair. Others have not chosen which way to go. More often than not those who have chosen religion have also chosen despair.

Then so many people are left suffering. The answers to our problems have not yet been disclosed. A body poised on a single point feels the point more deeply than a body lying spread out.

As a metaphor the point means our focus is on our problem.

When we are distracted then we do not feel the pain; we often forget it. We use tools such as entertainment or alcohol as distraction. There are so many forms of distraction that we cannot cover them all here. Some of these distractions are harmful and some will be of benefit to ourselves or to others.

We are here to discuss faith. The character of faith is to de-emphasize the point on which you lie while remaining undistracted. How can this be possible? Is faith a distraction or is it something else?

Why is so much emphasis given to the idea of faith? Surely it must have its roots deep within our being, as we are transformed by it. Then what is this transformation?

If faith has no physical basis, such as alcohol, or or a movie, or television, then it must exist on another level, something that cannot be touched. So we see that faith is spiritual. In order to make use of its properties then we must attain a spiritual growth which will give us this tool.

Thus we come to our experiment with spiritual practices and various forms of religion. Sooner or later we find the most suitable form of practice, or a system of belief, and it is here that, no matter what it is, we place our spiritual quality of faith, giving it the hand to reach out, and the voice with which to speak the words.

So we grow into new beings now capable of enduring the full stab of our afflictions.

Now it is time to go into the world remembering always that your growth is real. It is as tangible as any object in the room.

When you ask for strength you are given a tangible, real and solid object.

When you go from reading this remember that you are as one who has taken on a shield and a badge of protection; for you now have faith in the greater reality. You have faith that you are more than you seem to your own vision of yourself. This greater reality is the love from which you were born. It is there and you now know that it is there on your behalf.

Any thought that you are alone should be banished from your mind.

There is a fabric to all that is. It is from this that you come into the world.

Now imagine that there is a God. Imagine that this God has no boundaries. Then all that can be exists in all ways for all of time and exists in ways which we cannot describe.

Then what is left to say. You are meant to exist as fully as is possible. So what you lack will no longer be not there. What pain you have will not always trouble.

All is in flux. Rest assured that all that is above will not always seem so high and what is below will not seem lower than you are. Rivers will rise and flood the land, then rivers will dry.

So you see. Pain will pass into pleasure. Fear will dissipate into order. Crime will erase the criminal. Deeds done for good will vaporize. All acts will reverse themselves so that they are opposite, until acts of faith remove them from this cycle.

For in faith is growth and in growth is creation and in creation is purpose, so in purpose is achievement and finally in achievement is the coming of a manifestation of destiny which is the purpose of your life.

You become a greater being so you can create a greater universe.

The new universe will endure forever as a more stable place. Peace means stability. In simple terms it means that we no longer live in a state of flux, or up and down, or greater and lesser, or pain and pleasure.

We are making this universe together. That is all beings who live on all planets, who arise from time to time and in different places, who are known to one another or not. All sorts of beings, all who strive to be greater than they seem to be, in whatever form, human, not human, body, or no body that you would recognize, will participate, did participate as they are gone, or will participate because they are yet to be born.

So the final word is YES for NO has had its day.

Be now a part of it. Believe that you will overcome whatever is your trouble or your pain or your lack of belief.

Do your best. Have some faith. You will be rewarded.

Lucky Eyes - More Than Just a Fashion Accessory

Bad luck has always been a part of our life, though we take it into stride and look for ways to counter its negative effects. Many religions, especially Kabbalah, has integrated into their teachings on how to assimilate with the positive energies of this world to help us cope and overcome the effects of bad luck - whatever its sources may be.

The Positive Forces Of Kabbalah

It would be safe to say that everyone has heard of Kabbalah, but not all understand its meaning. The religion itself is more like a way of life; a codex that defines how a man is should live in order to achieve his ultimate potential.

According Kabbalah, man has the potential to achieve greatness by being endowed with the positive forces that God used to create the world. These positive energies stem from the 10 virtues or the 10 sephirots of Kabbalah and can give man the harmony he needs to reach his potential.

The Existence Of Negative Energies

But positive energies is not the only face of life; in fact, negative influences also exists that will help balance the cosmic order. These negative energies originate from different sources -- from pollution, chaos, negative emotions, supernatural beings, and of course, the Evil Eyes. Among all these, the latter has caused fear in ancient and modern societies today, and there are plenty of things you can do to counter its effect.

Evil Eyes VS Lucky Eyes

Evil Eyes originate from the gaze of a person filled with negative energies. When the negative emotions - such as hate, jealousy, and anger - build up in the human heart and mind, it can easily affect everything around them, especially those that is the object of their ire. These negative emotions can be easily transmitted with a simple gaze and the will to make their negative fantasies a reality to the person they wish to subject it to.

But in order to effectively negate the effects of the Evil Eye, you might want wear something that will absorb its emanations - like the Lucky Eyes.

Lucky Eyes can be easily judged as a fashion accessory, but you can easily see that there is a slight difference from any other trends in the market. For starters, Lucky Eyes were made to absorb the negative energies emanating from the Evil Eye. The single eye embedded in its center is blessed with the positive energies of Kabbalah that can withstand any torrent of negative forces that seeks to destroy the harmony of your being.

Physical and the Non-Physical Consciousness

The junction point between different states of consciousness; i.e. waking and sleeping is a good time to notice this experience.

As your mind and body start to settle down to rest. You become aware of the more subtle nature of the body, mind and aura. For me this experience is one of first scanning my body and my feelings and becoming aware of my deeper connection.

If I become aware of any discomfort in the body, I take my attention into that region and consciously breathe, relaxing the physical body and clearing the mind of any associated thoughts.

As you continue with this process, you may become aware of a third level of awareness; a field of energy that both surrounds and permeates the mind and the body. I say field, as it is a kind of electromagnetic field of energy, similar to magnetism.

This field of energy is the aura, the energy field of the body, it has consciousness too and you may notice your awareness passing from the physical body to the non-physical aura as you settle down to sleep.

Sometimes I experience this like clouds of white light washing over the body and passing through the body. As you take your awareness from your physical body and step over and become aware on your feelings as being within the clouds of white mist of the aura. You notice a freeing of your awareness an expansion and raising slightly of ones vibration.

The human body is such a wonderful thing as we can experience it on many levels and see the connections into may different aspects or dimensions of its nature.

As we become aware of this non-physical connection to our higher Self we may also become aware of its nature. We could invite in our guides and angels to come around us. We could take a few minutes just appreciating the work they do for us.

We could start to ask them for guidance or plan what we would like to do or experience tomorrow. This is a magical time, as we start to drift off into sleep, and if you witness your sleep, you may even have the experience of your spiritual awareness going out of body and astral travelling through the Universe.

This is all apart of your higher Self, the clouds of white light that you feel, is your spiritual connection into the non-physical world. This non-physical, although it is not localised like your body, is still as much apart of who you are as the physical nature of your body, in fact I would say is more your true nature.

So next time you are going to sleep, just in an innocent way, stay a little more aware of your feelings and experiences and consciously enjoy being aware of the many aspects of who and what you are.

Collaboration Creates Harmony

Sometimes unwittingly you might engage in a power struggle, both at home or at work. These conflicts often stem from an unconscious desire to retain control of your circumstances or surroundings. However, your strong-willed and defensive approach to solving issues, may cause you to come up against a stronger resistance from perceived adversaries.

When you let go of your need to be in control and engage in a collaborative strategy that will help you work in tandem with others, rather than against, others you will notice that together you can create powerful solutions that allow you each to have your needs and desires fulfilled. You will feel your defensiveness disappear as you seek out a fair and balanced workable solution.

When you cease pushing against those with whom you are involved in struggles for dominance, the conflict dividing you from one another, eases, and you can begin working on an equitable solution to your differences. Hostility only engenders more hostility, blinding you to the cooperative and fair strategy you can use to diffuse aggression.

By avoiding to provide any more resistance, you create a situation in which cooperative energy can flow. Once the blockages that existed between you have been eradicated through the channel of your openness, you can begin communicating with your adversaries. As you gain a new understanding of one another, you are each empowered to devise a universally beneficial resolution. You will gain the power to dispel conflict when you recognize that letting go is the ultimate antidote to anger and conflict.

Finding Something You Don't Like About Yourself - Creating Habits

Finding something you don't like about yourself is usually very easy for most people. Most of the time you don't even have to ask your family or friends because you have heard them complain about the same thing for years. How many times have you heard someone mention, I need to lose weight?

Here's a list of things people don't like about themselves. If you're one of those people that has a hard time finding something wrong with yourself, you could always ask one of your friends for some suggestions. I'm sure they would like that.

1. The need to lose weight. This of course is one of the worst problems with Americans. Most people need to lose weight and let's not forget there are some people that need to gain weight.

2. The need to stop gambling. As more Indian reservations are allowed to build gambling casinos and of course as the Internet gambling gets larger, I've noticed some people with gambling problems.

3. The need to stop drinking alcohol. The abuse of alcohol has been going on for many years. These people have an excuse for why they drink and most of the time it doesn't make sense.

4. The need to stop smoking. This could be one of the most difficult things I've ever seen my friends and family deal with.

5. The need to stop excessive behaviors. For example, gossiping, cruelty, bullying, lying, cheating, stealing, partying etc. You get the idea.

6. Don't forget the dreaded shopaholic. Most shopaholic's seem to have large credit card debt and can't seem to stop this vicious circle of buying and owing money to their creditors.

7. Working long hours or the workaholic. Sometimes this is a necessity but I would suggest that you change your lifestyle if possible. Reevaluate your reasons for working so hard.

8. Religious fundamentalists. People that spend too much time at their place of worship and soon find themselves feeling guilty if they're not doing something spiritual.

9. The need to be on time. This would include people that have problems giving themselves enough time to get ready for work or school.

10. The need to stop doing drugs. I thought by now, approaching my 50s, that drugs would no longer be a problem in the United States, but it is. It's one of the most damaging things people can do to their lives.

There are plenty of things that people would like to stop doing or start doing. If you're a smoker and you seem to shop excessively near the casinos, I would advise you to start with something small and work your way up to the big stuff.

What are you going to change today about your life? Make a list of things that you're not happy with about your life and start making the changes today that you need to create the life you deserve and desire.

An Overview of Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is everywhere. Well, not really. Not even a bit close. Though the suggestion that it will soon be is neither a supposition nor an affirmation. Let us face it, this is an unassailable fact. Whether or not you use it does not really matter. Wi-Fi has already established a strong foundation and all it needs to do is to branch out and grow.

What is Wi-Fi?

Initially, individuals assume that the concept is both intimidating and baffling. But if Wi-Fi is stripped down of its techie jargons and numerical hullabaloos, what is left is a system that utilizes radio signals to transmit data from one computer to another. It is that simple.

For now, one need not know what IEEE 802.11 specification stands for. We need not expound on the various protocols bearing numbers like 802.11a and 802.11b. Tackling these things will only bring more confusion in the mix.

Wi-Fi vs. Bluetooth: Comparison & Contrast
Though both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide wireless connection, the latter is limited to a one-to-one ratio. An example is sending a file from a computer to a mobile phone. In here, there are two directions: PC to phone or vice versa. And that is it. No other party is involved.

Bluetooth and internet is not a match made in tech heaven. If you are planning to connect to the internet, Bluetooth is not the optimum choice. The speed of a Bluetooth enabled device compared to a Wi-Fi is nothing but sluggish.

As for Wi-Fi, it can function under a network configuration whereby several devices may be hooked on or connected to it. Yes, you can link up an entire network. Surfing the web is easier for its speed can reach up to 11 megabits per second as compared to that of a Bluetooth's 720 kilobits per second.

Key Feature

One main element of this technology is that it is an open standard. It is this standardization that curved the high costs of connectivity. As for its installation, it can easily be positioned in every home. The continuous rise of establishments offering hotspots or those with Wi-Fi is providing the population access to the internet making broadband convenient and portable.

A decade ago, wireless is a luxury, but now such idea is only a thing of the past. As of date, notebooks and laptops are manufactured with built-in Wi-Fi capability and many homes have also embraced this technology as the way to connect to the internet. Heck, you can even take your laptop, purchase a drink in a Wi-Fi caf and leisurely check your email while enjoying the ambiance and your cup of coffee.

The Sharing

Generally, when one is using Wi-Fi, he is sharing access to the World Wide Web. Picture a tree. From its foundation up to the branches stretching out---the trunk represents the router while the branches the end user's computer units. In here, local area network (LAN) comes into play. As you connect to the internet using radio signals, the same network signals can be used to share files and applications to another laptop or computer provided it is within the Wi-Fi range.

The Name Confusion

Wireless fidelity, this term is quite new. Actually, it was only in 1999 that Wi-Fi has been attached with such a meaning. The company responsible for this wireless fidelity (a play on the word high fidelity or HiFi) is the Wi-Fi Alliance. And with that said, it is clear that Wi-Fi is but a trademark, a brand name of said establishment.

In closing, Wi-Fi technology, whatever the name means, is an alternative to the wires and cables technology. Gone are the days of tin cans and strings. But still the purpose remains, communication.
